History of Fresno Equipment Company

Fresno Equipment Company is a family owned and operated business founded in 1960 by Mark Vucovich. Mark surrounded himself with a close group of talented young sales associates, who together with the introduction of the John Deere 4010 tractor in the 1960’s, established strong grower-customer relationships, which Fresno Equipment Company maintains to this day. Mark and his sales team built market share and customer loyalty and helped establish John Deere as a dominant line of farm equipment in the Central San Joaquin Valley of California.

Marsha Vucovich is now the sole owner, President and General Manager of Fresno Equipment Company. This transition in family ownership has not changed our organization, our values, or the product lines we represent, particularly our strong relationship with John Deere and our commitment to serving all of our customers’ equipment, parts and service needs.

We are very proud of our 51 years of successful John Deere dealership experience and the many grower relationships we have developed.

We are also very proud of our current staff of product sales experts, aftermarket parts specialists and John Deere trained service technicians.
